Gmail is really annoying me. I am head of my college society. I have to email all the members about the society events. But whenever I email them, it goes to their spam folders. A lot of misunderstanding has been caused due to this. Can someone please tell me a solution so that all my emails will go to the inbox to my members? Thanks in advance.

As with my experience with sending email messages, the usual reason why an email message goes to the spam folder is if your email address is not added to their contacts. So, if you send an email message to someone and the recipient doesn’t have your email address in his or her contacts then the possibility that your message will go to the spam folder is likely to happen.

So, in your case, if you need to send a message to all the members of your college society and you don’t want your message to be dumped in the spam folder, tell all your members to add your email address to their contacts so your message will not be classified as spam.

Another reason why a message is filtered as spam is if the message contains only 1 graphic image. If you do this, it will surely go straight to the spam folder. Also, if your message contains links or URLs that were shortened by link shortening services, you can experience delivery issues.
