Hi all, I am an age old user of Cannon products. Recently I've bought a Cannon LiDE 210 photo scanner. I was working with Adobe Photoshop 7.0. A few days ago for urgency and need I installed Adobe Photoshop CC version. After the Installation, my Cannon LiDE 210 photo scanner isn't working/supporting like before. Is there someone have any idea, why is that happening?

I guess you really have a problem since you are using Adobe Photoshop with your scanner. This is because Adobe Photoshop doesn’t automatically add the scanner even if you already installed the scanner’s driver. To add your scanner to Adobe Photoshop, follow these steps. Exit Adobe Photoshop if it is running and then connect your scanner to your computer.

Make sure the scanner software is already installed. If not, install it now. After installing the driver for your scanner, click Adobe Optional Plug-ins for Windows then save the ZIP file on your hard drive. Once the download is complete, navigate to the download folder then unpack the ZIP file. Open the folder then go to the Optional Plug-Ins Win32 folder and then to the Plugins folder.

Inside the folder, select the Twain_32.8BA file then copy it to “C:Program FilesAdobeAdobe Photoshop CS6Plug-Ins”. Once the file is copied, start Adobe Photoshop then click File, Import, and then select your scanner. You may now try scanning with Adobe Photoshop.
