Dear Aabel Maverick,
If Touch screen of Androids does not work properly then the best place to start in troubleshooting any screen responsiveness issues is to make more system RAM available. Android users have more options for freeing up space on Android, Such as clearing the app cache or using third party apps such as Memory Booster – RAM Optimizer. When a Android touch screen is being unresponsive then should use the native apps which can resolve many touch screen detection problems that is localized to a particular portion of the display.

Dear,
Please check that the USB cable you use that is original. Because this problem occurs when you use wrong USB cable. Also check that the USB port you are using is generating the regular voltage. Because if it is generating the high voltage that can harm your device. So check both there is a problem with any of these.

I’m not sure if that’s a problem because most devices I know disables the screen automatically once connected to the computer. Like for example the Samsung Champ, the screen disables automatically once you connect it to the computer. The phone becomes unusable while it is connected to the computer. The screen reverts to normal once disconnected from the computer.

This happens because the device transfers full control to the computer while it is connected and being used by the machine. The phone restores to normal operation after disconnecting from the computer. As long as your Smartphone is working properly when not connected to your computer then there should be no problem.

On the other hand, if your device is eligible for an update to a higher version of the Android platform, try updating your device.
