My Acer Aspire 7741G screen black out.

I bought Acer Aspire 7741G (17" screen) and it is only 18 months old now. Yesterday, when I was watching BBC iPlayer, the screen suddenly turned green (stripes). 3 seconds later, the screen turns to black.

After about 3 minutes, I managed to turn it off, and It looked like a bulb busting on TV.

The two lights next to the start button on the front left are now blue and red, instead of blue and yellow.

After a while I tried to switch on it again, but the start button on my Window 7 is not working.

Any suggestions on this will be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Here is the solution:

For initial solution:

First check the battery or try to recharge the laptop.

If its not working or if its not indicate that your laptop is not charging, try to disassembly and check for the possibly hardware that responsible, replace the video card and check also your power supply also check the motherboard of your laptop, if there are some capacitor damage.

Hoping it will help you God Bless.

For final suggestion, go to legitimate laptop technician

Hi,

I got that problem before it sounds sad but your video card in your Acer laptop is unstable or due to overuse of the player. The video Card of your Acer laptop maybe has over heated  But still try to install a new video card  maybe there are some update. Also in the video card driver if still resist it's better to go a Acer service center near you.
