MVM 7.0 Installation error 1152

Hi everybody,

I am facing a problem regarding MVM 7.0, when I try to install it, I face an error message as follows: 
 
1152: error extrcting
 
McAfee Vulnerability Manager v7.0 – InstallSheild Wizard
 
1152: Error extrcting
C:DOCUME~1ADMINI~1LOCALS~1Temp{B:
Vulnerability Manager v7.0.msi to the temporary
location
 
                                   OK
“Cannot extract files to C:WINDOWSTEMP……” How can I solve this?
 
Help please.

Hi Nevil,

It seems that your McAfee antivirus software installation package is damaged, therefore cannot be installed correctly and the error message appears. I suggest you to try to re-download whole package from different source and then try to install it to different location.

Another suggestion is to remove all files in the mentioned TEMP folder. I'm attaching a screenshot which will help you to locate TEMP folder on your machine. It is safe to delete all files in TEMP folder.

These steps should clear your problem. Good luck.
