Recently, I have updated the latest version of Thunderbird. When I launch the Thunderbird after updating, two message windows are always being displayed. When I close one message both are close. What is the reason for this error? How can I remove the following error message? I really need your help to resolve the issue.

Multiple Thunderbird windows are displayed when Thunderbird 17 launches
Thunderbird could be giving these error messages because of multiple accounts created in it. When you open Thunderbird, it tries to get mail and synchronize for all the existing accounts and ends up giving the error messages. It shouldn't be happening but maybe they will release another update for this bug. If its possible, you may try deleting accounts that you don't use and see if the error goes away or change the settings to automatic download of mail only for your most current account. Don't forget to restart TB after this!
