Helllo Techyv users!

Via a device ID is that be able to get control of accessing to MSX 2010? Whether is there any setting that would be applicable to allow an ActiveSync to bind to username or mailbox of a user? All I need the users to synchronize their mailboxes only by a definite device which all can be locked via the device ID during the first synchronizing following the discovery mode.

Yes, you can control it using a device ID. To create a device (or a family of devices) rule, you can start by following these instructions:

In order to access the ABQ settings

1. Log in to ECP.

2. Make sure you are managing the "My Organization" option– it only appears to users with Exchange Administrator access.

3. Select phone & voice on the “ActiveSync Access” tab.

It will show the pop up page that contains the "New Device Access Rule Page". You can add your device and you can make another setting for an unknown device that will try to connect to your Exchange Servers.
