MSI Failed on Workstation Installation

I am running Windows 8 Pro x64 and I am having an error on Workstation installation. I installed Workstation previous version before without issues but right now, I have this error on version 9.0.1. Right after the installation, the application hangs and it doesn't work for at least an hour so I decided to forced kill the process. And the error appears:

VMware-workstation-full-9.0.1-894247

The MSI 'C:UsersJorisAppDataLocalTempvmware_1352395605vmwareworkstation_x64.msi' failed.

In general while updating any VMware product to latest version ensure that you have un-installed the earlier version properly with a reboot. Un-installation should be carried out from within control panel. Also, Type %TEMP% from “Run” and make sure that none of the VMware installation or un-installation process is running. Select and Delete all files and folders from tem directory. Post restart, freshly installs the version once again.
