Hello,

I'm having discomfort due to the mistake that is going to bother my official work poorly for two days.

On my office computer, when I try to save the file, I get the following error.

Word file error

Microsoft Word

A file error has occurred.

Try one or more of the following:

  • Check the disk drive to make sure the disk is properly inserted.
  • Check the disk or the disk drive to make sure there is not a hardware problem.
  • Check the network connection.

I'm using windows 2000 Professional and computer Pentium III 850 MHz with 128 MB of RAM.

Office is the 2000 version of Microsoft and all other programs are working well. The word is giving this error. Please help me to solve this problem because I don't have any knowledge about Windows or troubleshooting. I only know how to use computers.

Thank you.
