Rabbi,
Actually, there are unusual marks that may appear in Word document. The red wavy underline that you are referring is used by Microsoft Word to specify probable spelling errors. And the wavy green underline is to indicate probable grammatical errors.

In MS Word, the red line under any word or sentence simply shows either the spelling of the underlined word is wrong or the word on the sentence is not an English grammar word.

Solution:
Spelling errors in a document is marked with red wave underline. Grammar errors are pointed out  with green wave underline.
