MS Word closes without any cause

I am having problem with MS Word 2007. Well first of all I have genuine Windows 7 and genuine Office 2007. I didn't uninstall Office 2003 before installing Office 2007.

I was working on Word when a popup from Kaspersky appeared saying that some unknown software wants to connect to the internet. I naturally denied it. As soon as I clicked the Block Option MS Word closed.

I tried to run it again but after about 1 min it closed automatically? Why is this happening?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You are using genuine Windows and genuine Microsoft Office but I guess you are not using a genuine registered version of Kaspersky Antivirus.

Because if you would have been using a registered Antivirus it would have neutralized the threat.

Your system is infected by a Trojan32.vir type of virus. You need to scan your HDD with a fresh copy of updated Antivirus, it may solve your problem. MS Office and all other applications will run smoothly when you will capture the culprit Trojan and remove it.

Hello Dear,

In order to use MS Office 2007 and MS Office 2003 simultaneously, you need to customize your options and select Not uninstall the previous version. If you have not unchecked this option then both MS offices’s might have created conflict with each other.

If your system was previously working fine then try restoring the system on the previous date by clicking on

-> Start

-> Accessories

-> System Tools

-> System Restore

and then try restoring on the previous date.
