Hello TechyV buddies!

I am having some problem saving a document on MS word 2007. I have tried to remove all the administrative rights of my users of computer in the workstations and when they tried to save a document an error shows up. The error seems to talk about not enough disk space or RAM. Although that is not true it still appears. And another problem is the printer doesn’t work anymore. I have tried solving this issue by bringing back the administrative right to each users but the problem is unsolved. This results to reinstalling the whole office for 10-15 minutes. After reinstalling, everything came back to its normal condition. Can anyone tell me want went wrong in the first situation where I removed the administrative rights of the users? I am using Windows XP SP3, MS Office 2003 SP3 and Office 2007 SP3 + last updates.Thank you! 72. The question for referenced MS Excel's data analysis tool in cgi

Hello Alex,

If you do not have enough space on the partition that you are trying to save the file to, then you will continue getting that error until you create some more space on it. Try the following:

  • With your Microsoft Word document open, click on File and the Save As.
  • In the window that will open, choose another destination or partition that has got free space.
  • Provide a file name for the file and then save it. This should not bring the error.

Other things you will need to do are:

  • Check if the partition that has the operating system has got space or it is packed with files. It is important that you have more free space on this partition so that you do not run out of storage memory.
  • Free some files on the partition you are saving the document on right now and then retry saving it.

Regards,

Carl

Hi Alexander,

Please check these issues to fix your problem.

1. Is there installed 2 office package in your PC?

2 You can disable your firewall or antivirus and then retry.

3. Try another printer drive to save. If it works, then you have to reinstall your printer again.
