Hi

I am in doubt if this is the correct place for this.

I copied my HDD to my latest SSD.

Then the whole thing works very well including windows 7.

Just Microsoft Office is requesting for a key but I didn't find it anywhere.

Just it came preinstalled.

But I wouldn't concern excessively but it is office professional 2010 and it is a costly piece of software because I used it for TAFE. Also I have no disk for it as well as I formatted my HDD.

Now i am facing a great problem. Please help me.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Tamara,

The License type that you are using appears to be KMS, and a KMS license requires you to have a dedicated KMS server to for to be able to activate against at least every 180 days. The KMS is a Volume License, and if it happens that you purchased this license in retail, then you could have got a counterfeit. Try the following remedy and see if it will help fix your issue:

Carl
