When I install Microsoft Professional Plus 2010. I get this error.

What should I do to install Office 2010?

The error message “Error 1714. Setup cannot remove the older version of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010” indicates that it belongs older version of MS Office program on your systems. You did not mention whether you uninstalled you earlier installed Office Program. If not uninstall your previous version Office Program first.
You can easily remove your earlier version with the Fix Its KB290301. You need not to upgrade Office Program. Always prefer a side by side installation. Collect a fresh copy of Microsoft Office 2010 and install it carefully on your machine. I hope this time it will be ok.

Microsoft Office Professional is already installed therefore go to control panel from your start menu and click Microsoft Office Professional on the program list. Then click remove. Or go to start menu find Microsoft Office Professional and click on it .Then click uninstall.
