I want to install MS-Messenger for Mac 8. I’m a new Mac user and I want to know if I can do audio and video calls with it? Can I use the messenger for Live Communication Server 2005? Any help will do. Thanks.

Here are some information which may help you with your problem/concern about MS Messenger for your Mac which runs with Live Communication Server 2005.
As I checked, with the release of Microsoft for Mac 7.0 (which was replaced by Mac 8), Microsoft has discontinued the support for older versions of their corporate messaging systems such as Live Communications Server 2005 which is the one you have. So since you have this server, it would be best if you use MS Messenger for Mac 6.0.3. Unfortunately, the video and audio call is only available in the latest version of MS Messenger which is for Mac 8 however, you don’t have to worry since there are other free alternatives that you can use if you really need to do video/audio calls.
