Hi,

The problem is with my Zen Nano plus MP3 Player. Every time I switch the player on, a red light flashes with a message showing error code E007. I formatted the device twice, but every time the message appears. How do I fix it? I am hoping that you can give me some suggestions regarding how to fix this issue.

Thank you.

Here are some possible solutions:

1. The firmware of your device may need to be updated. To do this you need to have the latest firmware update for your player.

  • Click on Agree on the License Agreement page.
  • Click "Run" button.
  • On the Security Warning window, click on "Run" button again.

''

  • A new window will open. Put a check on the "Format Data Area" checkbox.
  • Click on "Yes" to format the device.
  • Click on the "Close" button once it is showing that it has completed the update. While the update is in progress, do not disconnect the device from your computer. Once it is complete your player will automatically start charging. You will see the charging icon on the screen and the power LED should go blinking blue.

2. Reformat your player using this steps.

  • Connect player to your computer.
  • Open My Computer for Win XP or Computer for Win Vista or 7 (Double-Click).
  • Right click your player from the list.
  • Click on Format.
  • Set the File System to "FAT 32".
  • Click on "Start".
