Hi People,

Periodically, the mouse cursor within the text areas of a task, calendar or contact form does stops responding to the cursor. The cursor just sits in the first position (upper left). The cursor works fine within all other fields? If I close and reopen OL all is fine, until the next time?

Thanks for the help.

Hi Jasika,

I understand your problem as I can see when you work with the text field cursor does not respond. So, I have a few solutions for you.

1- Check your cursor properties from your OS's control panel.

2- Try to reset your computer settings to default mode.

3- If still problem persist's then simply try to reinstall the application.

Hi Jasika,

Yes, I know, this has been an ongoing issue with Microsoft Outlook 2007. But the good news is that I was able to solve this problem in my Windows 7. What I did is just to allow the Microsoft Outlook application to run as Administrator from the compatibility mode in the application's properties. I was able to switch it from the Run As Administrator mode and got the fix to this issue. Try this same fix as I have gotten and I hope this works for you too.

Best of luck Jasika.
