Hello Justin,

First, make sure that you rebooted your computer after installing this program. Also, check to see if the recovery point file you are working with can be opened and verified in the program.

If the error persists, you will need to search for the settings of the v2imount.sys driver. If you have Windows XP or 2003, go to the Start menu, find Run, and type in "msinfo32." After clicking on Select Software Environment and then System Drivers, make sure the v2imount.sys driver is set as follows: "Yes" for Started and "Auto" for Start Mode. For Windows Vista or 2008, go to the Start Menu and type in "msinfo32" and then Enter in the Search box. After clicking on Select Software Environment and then System Drivers, make sure the v2imount.sys driver is set as follows: "Yes" for Started and "Auto" for Start Mode.

Select Software Environment and then System Drivers
