Motorola Atrix is a new Smartphone from Motorola. But I don't understand the morphing technology.

Can it turn into a tablet PC? If it is possible then how?

Motorola Atrixis a new handset from Motorola. It’s having very high features in this mobile. It’s having 4 inch screen and android software and different other things. The main feature of this phone is it can convert into a laptop with the lap dock feature.

In the lap dock there are two parts one is USB and other is hdmi port. When you connected the Motorola Atrix to the lap dock after opening the lap dock you will see all those things which are in the Atrix mobile phone.

The Morphing Technology is the special effects which we can convert one picture into another picture. This is mostly used to convert one face of a human to another human face.

The Motorola ATRIX 4G Smartphone is actually not a 4G device. It is a 3G Smartphone that operates on 2G and 3G network bands using GSM and HSPA technologies. The device was announced on January 2011 and released on February 2011. It measures 117.8 x 63.5 x 11 millimeters and weighs 135 grams. It uses a mini-SIM card.

It has a TFT capacitive touchscreen display with 16M colors at 540 x 960 pixels screen resolution. It supports multi-touch and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass with Touch sensitive controls and MOTOBLUR UI with Live Widgets. It runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread but unfortunately it can’t be upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

It is powered by NVIDIA Tegra 2 AP20H chipset, Dual Core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A9 processor, and ULP GeForce GPU. It supports microSD expandable up to 32 GB. It runs on 1 GB RAM with 16 GB internal storage. The primary camera supports 5 megapixels with autofocus and LED flash and features geo-tagging. The primary camera can record video in 720p at 30 fps and 1080p via SW update.

The secondary camera supports VGA. The Motorola ATRIX 4G supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with dual-band, DLNA, and hotspot; Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and EDR; GPS with A-GPS; and microUSB 2.0. It has accelerometer, proximity, compass, and fingerprint sensors. The pre-installed web browser supports HTML with Adobe Flash. Java is supported.

It runs on a removable Li-Po 1930 mAh battery with standby time up to 400 hours on 2G and 350 hours on 3G. Talk time is up to 8 hours 50 minutes on 2G and 9 hours on 3G. It is available only in black color. The Motorola ATRIX 4G acts like a personal computer. With its new web-based desktop, it can morph personalities when the accessories are connected.

When you connect it to an HDMI-compatible HD TV, Motorola Laptop Dock, or HD Dock, and using the Webtop application, you will be able to surf the internet with its Mozilla browser and access your emails, photos, and videos on a large screen either on the road or at home.
