Hi, I am an user of Firefox. I use Firefox 34 beta version. I have updated my Firefox to this version two days ago. My problem is, whenever I open five or more tabs in my Firefox it stops responding. The problem is not only with this version but also with other versions too. Any solution please?
More than five open tabs leaves firefox “Not responding”
Such issue is of your internet connection. If the connection is slow or not good enough to handle several contacts with other servers, this problem might occur.
First of all, make sure that your internet connection is fast enough. If possible, upgrade your package of internet package.
Next, try to tweak your Windows system.
1. From Start menu, type “gpedit.msc” >> hit Enter.
2. Go to Computer Configuration >> Administrative Templates >> Network >> QoS Packet Scheduler >> Limit reservable bandwidth.
3. Select “Enabled” from top-left options >> change the value of “Bandwidth limit (%)” to 0.
4. Press Apply >> OK.
If the problem still persists, try to use other browsers like Chrome, Opera etc.
Download the latest Firefox. You should always use the stable version as its stability is good and doesn’t trouble.
