Hello Dusty,

Most of the time when you download programs or other documents from the internet they are stored in a folder called downloads which you can access by clicking on start, then look for my documents and click on it. Downloads should be somewhere in My Documents. Unless you specified a different location for your downloads, then they should be there. If your templates were in a zipped format, check in the compressed folder under downloads where they should possibly be. Otherwise check all the folders under downloads and see if you can find them there.

Otherwise, if you used Firefox to download, just go to the list if downloads, click on one template that you downloaded and click on 'open containing folder'. You will be directed there.

Yes, that’s right. Sometimes a web browser would save the item you are downloading on a folder called Download. The folder normally appears in the user’s My Documents folder. So, to check if the design themes you downloaded from the Microsoft website are in my Documents folder, open Windows Explorer or just double-click My Computer. If you use Windows Explorer, it will automatically open My Documents folder.

But if you use My Computer, you will see different user name folders under “Files Stored on This Computer” section. Simply double-click your user name’s folder to open My Documents. See image.

After that, check first if your files are in My Documents folder. If you don’t see any theme files there, check the names of the folders inside My Documents and find something like Download. If you see it, double-click it to open it then check your files there. If you are using Opera browser, by default, it saves the downloaded files inside My Documents.
