If you encounter the error while you are doing the backup or while you are backing up the files, try closing the application, restart your computer then try it again. Delete the backup file created during your previous session then try backing up the files again. See if it’ll be successful after performing a reboot.

You should also check if the program you are using to backup the files is compatible with your operating system. Or maybe you did not meet the specific system requirements of the application and there are still missing components that were not yet installed. Check again the technical requirements of the program then see if you missed installing some additional programs for the backup tool.

If you are referring to “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3,” check the system requirements first before installing and make sure your computer meets those requirements. “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3” supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

It requires Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 or equivalent AMD Phenom X3 8750 or faster processor, 2 GB RAM, Microsoft DirectX 9.0c-compatible video card with 256 MB video RAM and Shader 3.0 support (NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT, ATI Radeon X1950, or better), sound card, 16 GB free space, and broadband internet connection.

If the game is already installed, try to uninstall and reinstall. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install. Once installed, start Revo then select your Call of Duty game among the applications and click “Uninstall.” Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and click to delete everything it finds.

This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, exit Revo then install Call of Duty back. If you still have a problem backing up the files, disable your antivirus temporarily then try again. Make sure you are using an administrator account when doing all of these.
