Missing Downloaded Visual Basic.exe: Folders are Empty

I wanted to learn Visual Basic C++ so I downloaded it to my computer. After I have completely downloaded that huge file, I didn’t see any .exe file there so how could I run the software? Most of the folders and sub-folders are empty too. I tried deleting the files and downloading them again but I still get the same content. I have tried the same thing for like 4 times already but I cannot get what I wanted. Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

Well, that is a strange happening but I suspect you are not using the right procedure to locate the file that you just downloaded on your computer. What application are you using to download the file? Is it a internet download manager application or just the browser downloader? In case you are using any of these methods to download, then you will need to locate the file on your computer as follows:

  • Go to the file that you have downloaded on the download manager.
  • And then right click on it and then choose 'open containing folder'.

The folder location where your file has been saved will be opened, and you can now install it.
