I think you don’t need to troubleshoot Autodesk Inventor 2012 to be able to fix the problem with the context menus and mini-toolbars. You just need to uninstall it and then reinstall it back to fix any corrupted files and to restore its configurations back to default as well as the settings that you might have customized.

I think you don’t have a compatibility problem because Windows 7 is pretty much supported by this application. I think it encountered an error during the installation that caused some of the files to be corrupted and as a result you got missing toolbars and context menus. The common solution for this is just by reinstalling the application.

You may also want to check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. For a much thorough diagnostics on the system, use a disk utility application like Norton SystemWorks.

Hi Abraham ,

Sometimes it might be malware activity, try installing an antivirus or internet security first for safety , now scan your system wholly and then follow my steps.

It seems you are having trouble with inverter 2012 , try giving it an update , some related bugs are recently posted in their forums , they might have provided necessary update for the software that solves your issue or you might have manually accidently disabled it.

If you cant find the option then uninstall keeping all your configuration and files from control panel -> add or remote programs (win XP ) or programs and features(win 7) then install it again,.

Hope that helps solve your problem !
