Missing codec premiere 9 in my PC

Hi,

I am using Window 7. I want to make some clip using premiere 9 as an editing tool. When I try to import any video file, it says an error message missing codec premiere 9. All the video files I have play, just fine on Media Player Classic and VLC and can even be opened by other editing programs. I do not know what codec to use for premier 9. Please help me. If anyone knows about codec ,suggest me what codec pack I have to use for premier 9.

Hi Hannah Tracey,

If you are using trial version then you will receive such error. Then you have to purchase the professional version because premier comes with all the codecs needed for video editing. Or if it is not the case, then it is the case of incompatible driver of your video card. If you are using built-in graphic adapter then you have to update for the latest driver of it. Or if you have separate video card just check if it has the latest driver and it does meet the requirement of your software. If it doesn't resolve the issue then you must download a third party codec software.
