Missing 2-Screen Option in PowerPoint 2011

I am having problems running PowerPoint 2011 on my MacBook Pro( 10.5.8). There are times when I am in front of some audience and presenting something, I want to turn off the presenter view on my computer screen and the presentation on the projector. In fact, a mirror display can solve the issue; the Microsoft Help advises its users to select the mirror from a dropdown list, but I cannot see the 2-screen option on the menu. How can I fix this? Where can I find the 2-screen option? I’m lost, please help.

Hi Calvin,

The mirror display doesn't really appear on the preferences, real slide or set up show options that' is why you cannot  see it. To be able to find the 2-screen option on the menu .

Just open the slide show ribon. There is an option to the right to present with presenter display or mirrored or cloned.  Instead of design, just put master slide instead of view. You can take a look a look at the image below to enlighten you of what I'm saying. Just click the slide show on the tab and it will give you the set of icons. I hope it helps. Have a gread day and happy weekend!
