My Mac Book Air does not open the Microsoft Office Word. Instead it gives an error that there is not enough memory to complete the required operation. I have a large part of my SSD empty and the RAM is good too. Why am I getting this error? What can I do to open Microsoft Word successfully?

First of all, quit all the programs. Make sure that you have all the updates of latest OS and JAVA. Once it is confirmed that the OS and JAVA are latest and updated, Launch Disk utility and then run repair disk permissions. (It takes several minutes to get completed). Now, Restart your Mac.

Once you are done with the repair of permissions, launch word. If it gets launched successfully, then go to Help and click on check for updates. This will make sure that Office is fully updated.
If word doesn’t get open, then run the updates. Make sure that the office is updated. Once you update the office, go to Repair disk permissions again. Do the needful and then restart your Mac again.
