Microsoft Word 2013 is hanging while opening Document

Hello everybody,

I have recently installed Microsoft Word 2013 and it has all nice features. But, from last week I am getting a strange problem. While opening any document it is failing to open and getting hanged. Whenever I try to open any document, it is showing the message saying "Connecting to Sky Drive" and after that not proceeding further. I have tried to open a different documents but faced the same problem with any document. Can somebody please tell me what to do?Your help with this will be greatly appreciated.

Microsoft Word 2013 is hanging while opening Document

This is something related to a Sky Drive configuration.
 
Do this:
 
1. Go to the Sky Drive settings
 
2. Look for the option: "Use Office to sync files faster and work on files with other people at the same time". If the option is checked that is the problem, uncheck it.
 
3. Word should work fine now.
