Please help me with my problem…
I am working with word 2010 and I have got this annoying issue.
When I try to bold one word the whole document is bolded and also when I try to center one word the whole document also is centered. This repeats even when I select the document first.
Someone please assist me as is annoying and it seems very difficult to sort.
Help please.

It sounds strange but problems happen. Are you sure that document that you are creating is a document on its that you just creates or is it an image that you have copied and pasted, because if it is an image, then it can only be edited as a whole and not as single text especially if you have grouped all the contents together. Just ensure that it is not an image.
Also ensure that you have not placed the text in a textbox, because that will mean that the text has been grouped together and therefore you can only make changes to it as whole and not as a single word of text.
Otherwise try selecting the text that you want to bold again but this time press CONTROL + P and see what happens.
