Hi there,

After installation of Microsoft visual studio on my PC with Windows XP (32) I got this error message. My friend too, installed this program, but is running without error. I don’t really know what is this error and how can I solve this. Please help me to solve this problem with the program and tell me why I have this error message?

Thanks!

A reference to ‘OutOfProcServer’ could not be added.

The ActiveX type library D:DatenVSone 2007UACSamplesConsumeMyElevatedCOMOutOfProcServerbinD ebugoutofprocserver.tlb was exported from a NET assembly and cannot be added as a reference,

Add a reference to the .NET assembly instead.

If this is a fresh installation of Microsoft Visual Studio, make sure you have the latest version of Microsoft .NET Framework to have a much better compatibility and functionality. But first, uninstall Microsoft .NET Framework then restart your computer. Next, uninstall Microsoft Visual Studio then click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and select Disk Cleanup.

Select drive C and click OK. Check “Temporary files”, click OK, and click Delete Files to continue. Restart the computer when it is finished. Download the latest version of Microsoft .NET Framework from Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1. Install the package once downloaded and then restart the computer to finish the update. Install Microsoft Visual Studio back and then see if it works.

Additionally, make sure you install all required software for Microsoft Visual Studio like Microsoft SQL Server, and others. You can find it in the download page of your Microsoft Visual Studio edition.
