Hi experts,

While I was working in Microsoft Visual Studio I got this error message. I had this error before and I’ve reinstalled my Windows and the program to solve it. Now I don’t want to make a full reinstall to solve this. Does anyone have another solution for this error ? What is causing this error ?

Thanks !

Since you are already using Microsoft Visual Studio and working on something when the error appears, check if you meet all the requirements and the program or your version supports Windows 8. Previous versions of Microsoft Visual Studio don’t support Windows 8 so make sure you are using a much recent version. If your version supports your operating system, check the required software if they are all installed.

Microsoft Visual Studio requires the installation of other components and will not work properly without them. Save your work and then restart the application. Work on your project again and see if it works. If it appears again, close the application and restart the computer. Start Microsoft Visual Studio and try working on your project again. See what happens.

If it’s the same, try running the program as administrator. Close the application then right-click Microsoft Visual Studio on your desktop and select Properties. Select Compatibility tab and check “Run this program as an administrator” and then click OK. Start Microsoft Visual Studio again and see if it works. If the problem continues, visit Microsoft and check if there is an available patch for your version or any available update that you can install.
