Hello,

I tried to make an USB bootable with Windows 7 and during the copy this message appeared and I had to start again. The result was the same with the same problem. Can anyone help me to skip this error ? Is there any other way to make an USB Drive bootable ?

Thank you !

Hello,

WINDOWS 7 USB/DVD DOWNLOAD TOOL is a nice program that makes creating bootable USB devices easier than ever. Though it stinks a little, it counts a lot for its work.

Such error is appearing because probably either your ISO file is corrupted and unreadable or the target USB device is having issue with writing data or something.

First of all, check the ISO file whether it is correct or not. Check that is correct. If not, retrieve another copy of the file and then run the task again.

If you still face this issue, you have to check your USB device. Giving a format might work.

1. Go to Start menu >> Computer.

2. Right-click on your target USB drive and select “Format”.

3. Click “Start”.

Also, right-click on the device >> select “Properties” >> open “Tools” tab >> click “Check now” button under the section “Error-checking”. Wait until the process finishes.

If you’re still having trouble, you should use any other software that does the same job, for example, WiNToBootic, Rufus, UNetBootin etc.
