Hello,
I have downloaded PowerPoint files and when I click to open these files, an error message appears every time. When I clicked on Repair another error message displayed. I am confused how to remove this error so help me to resolve this error immediately.

Hello Theodore,
This error is appearing commonly when trying to open a PowerPoint file of a later version with an old version of the software.
 First of all try to open the file in a different system to check if the file is corrupted.
 If it opens on other systems, i have some solutions to suggest:
1. Right-click on the PowerPoint file and select Properties.
2.  In the box that opens, click on the Unblock. This should unblock the file.

If this solution doesn't work, try this:
1. When you get the error message, click on Repair
2. Then save your file with another name as a .ppt or a .pptx file
