Microsoft Outlook 2010 – problems receiving e-mails from Lotus

I use MS Outlook and have been receiving calendar requests from a consulting firm that uses Lotus. I noticed today that some of the requests are duplicated. I'll get one request and maybe a minute or two later, I will get the same request.

Has anyone ever experienced this problem before

You are not clear on what device you receive your email is it on a computer or on a phone? Check your account and confirm some few things if the account has been configured for the device then it might be the reason for you receiving duplicate emails. Check whether you are forwarding emails to yourself in your account either as an integration account or as you get information.

If you confirm any of the above as the problem then if it is to do with the removal of the integration get information by contacting your technical support. If it is information about message server then contact you administration support. I hope you will find out as soon as possible what the trouble is.

Hi,

This particular error is caused by Ms Outlook itself. When you synchronize it from other programs, tools it creates duplicate entries.

You can prevent your outlook from creating duplicate entries by applying one-way synchronization. By default it is always two way synchronization. In default case you can select to overwrite Ms Outlook to resolve the issue.
