Hello.I cannot setup Microsoft office Professional 2010 trial version. During setup an error message appear. That is 'Microsoft office professional 2010 trial encountered a problem during setup'. I am using windows 7. How can I solve this setup problem?

Hallo Sajibara,

Try the following workaround and see if it will help solve the problem:

You will need to rename the Microsoft Help folder on your computer and then try installing office after that. To rename the folder, use the steps that have been outlined below:

  • On your computer, click on Start, and the click on All Programs.
  • Locate Accessories’ and click on it.
  • Click on Run.
  • In the dialog box that will open, type the following: %Programdata%
  • Click OK after that.
  • Next you will rename the 'Microsoft Help' folder with the name'Microsoft Help. OLD'

Once you have finished that, you can now try reinstalling Office and check if it works.
