Hi,

Recently I installed Microsoft Office Professional 2010 as well as with it came Microsoft .NET Framework 4.

But Norton Ghost 15 (V 15.1.0.36526) doesn't look like to know this and shows with this error message through the install process. I ignore the error and then continue the install process and also the set up seems to ok, however I think there could be a few elements that's are not running correctly but I am unsure.

I need to know about this error and also I need to solve it. Please help me.

Hi,

To get rid of the problem you have to do the following:

1. Uninstall the Program, Norton Ghost.

2. Find COM fix file and download.

3. In the Windows directory usually (C:\) create a new folder namely COMFIX and extract the COM_Fix.zip file what you download now.

4. Go to C:\COMFIX and right-click on com_fix.bat file and Run as administrator.

5. When you see Restore Successfully! message, click OK.

6. Exit all programs and restart your computer.

7. Now install Norton Ghost.

I think your problem has been solved.

Dear User,

You can easily fix this problem following these steps,

  1. First uninstall Norton, Microsoft Office Professional 2010 and also .NET Framework 4 completely from your computer. Then restart your computer.
  2. Now install Microsoft Office Professional 2010 in to your computer along with .NET Framework 4.
  3. Then install Norton Ghost (make sure you install a newer version)
