I need help regarding FRISK software. I have recently removed the F-PROT antivirus program from my computer. Now whenever I start Outlook I'm blocked by this error message. If anybody has experience troubleshooting this software I will be very grateful if you can help me here. Thanks!
The Add-in “F-PROT Antivirus E-mail plug-in” (C:Program FilesFRISK SoftwareF-Prot antivirus for Windowsfpoutavext.dll) cannot be loaded and has been disabled by Outlook. Please contact the Add-in manufacturer for an update. If no update is available, please uninstall the Add-in.
Microsoft Office Outlook – FRISK Software
This error message will pop-up if and only F-PROT Antivirus is removed. However, removing this file will not remove the add-in on email client such as Microsoft Outlook Add-In Manager.
There are steps needs to be done to fix this issue. I'll gather the procedure steps by steps for better understanding.
You'll need to open Microsoft Outlook
Go to Tools and go to Trust Center then Add-Ins
Look for Manage then select Exchange Client extensions
You have to click on the Go button after
In the Add-in Manager Windows, remove the check mark on F-PROT Antivirus Email plug-in
Click on OK button and this should take care of it
