When I added an Office 2010 KMS Key on a Windows 2008 R2 KMS Server then an error occurred, using Microsoft Office 2010 KMS Host License Pack. I tried hard to solve this problem but couldn’t. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Dustin,

I found a solution to your problem which should be quite simple. Check if your internet connection is working by going to the taskbar and clicking on the Network icon, then "Open Network and Sharing Center" after which you click on Troubleshoot Problems and choose Network Adapter. If your internet connection does work, you could try to set your computer time to the right time. It should work after that.

"0x80072F8F" error you're receiving when you try to activate your Office 2010 Key Management Service has the meaning of "ERROR_WINHTTP_SECURE_FAILURE", which means that your computer failed to establish a secure connection. The reason in this case is a mismatch between the server and client time. To fix this problem, do the following:

1. Open the KMS server and set the correct date and time.
