Hi buddies,

I have some concern about Microsoft Access. There is an object that the application couldn't locate.

Microsoft Office Access

The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the object ‘MSys Object’. Make sure the object exists and that you spell its name and the path name correctly.

When I checked the object in my folder, it was present with the correct file name on it and I don't know what is the reason why it's not detectable. Please help me figure out what went wrong on my system. Thanks a lot.

Possibly leads to:

  • The specified item doesn't exist.
  • A person misspelled the object title. Look for absent underscores ( _ ) or another punctuation, and ensure you didn't enter major spaces.
  • In case you want to open a Btrieve desk, the actual paths indicated in the information definition document File.ddf might be completely wrong. Be sure important computer data (.dat) documents will be in the proper websites.

Hi James,

There are chances that your MS Access database is having objects which are corrupted and not running anymore.

You shall delete such corrupted objects to remove the error.

Advanced Access Error (AAR) is one such automated program which will scan your database and remove the corrupted files.

Please follow these steps to remove the error:

1. Take back up of your MS Access database first,

2. Download Advanced Access Error (AAR) free from this link – https://www.datanumen.com/access-repair/,

3. Run the program.

Issue will be solved.
