Microsoft Dynamics NAV: The operating system returned the error

Hello, I am using Microsoft Dynamics Nav 5.0 SP1 to manage the database. A Windows Login ID is created but the database could not be opened by using the Windows Login. An error message appears and it says that the network path could not be found. Please find below screenshot of the error message for your reference.

Can any expert help me to solve this error? Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Windows cannot find the network path. Verify that the network path is correct and the destination computer is not busy or turned off. If Windows still cannot find the network path, contact your network administrator.

Hi there

This is a problem which occur because of Microsoft Dynamics NAV creates temporary files. So in order to avoid these problems follow these instructions

1st Restart “Microsoft Dynamic NAV”

2nd Make sure in the directory which database file is located no antivirus is running.

3rd Go to Microsoft dynamic NAV server installation folder and delete all the TEMP files and restart.

Note make sure all the .dmp files are deleted
