Microsoft Dynamics GP Web Client – Teaser Articles

I think there is some sorts of issues with the Adobe Reader X version and with Dynamics GP even too. It has been couple of days we have upgraded our previous Adobe Reader to newer version of Adobe Reader X over the Terminal Server. Furthermore, we have also placed our Dynamics DP program over the same Terminal Server.

Until we have upgraded to newer version, users were facing no sort of issues while uploading PDF files using OLD Object Container. However, the time when we have upgraded the version it start messing up with users and start generated error messages whenever they were trying to upload PDF files or read existed PDF document.

Failed to create object

OLE Container

Failed to create object.

As a matter of fact this is not happening to me only, there is entirely community shouting out there looking for a solution.

This is the link to the community: Errors when opening or creating PDF OLE Attachments in Dynamics GP notes.

I am still in a great puzzle how to solve it though it seems I need to get back to the older version of Adobe Reader.

Good day gloriawburbage,

I hope this helps. I understand you are using adobe reader X right? if your version of adobe reader X is less than 10.1.2, please do update it to 10.1.2 and try to upload your PDF files or read your existing PDF documents. i think that should be working fine after you update your adobe reader. if it doesn't open your file after you update your adobe reader, try to uninstall it and restart your computer, then install it again. After you install it again, try to restart your computer again. hope this helps. thank you and god bless.
