Hello everyone,

I am trying to install Microsoft ActiveSync on my system to deal with a program in C sharp. The program is related to a barcode printing label. I am currently using windows & OS and when I try to install the activesync on my windows, it won’t allow the operation to be completed. It says that the program is blocked due to some compatibility issues. The following error message pops up on my screen when I try to deploy it:

Microsoft Visual Studio install Microsoft ActiveSync error

Microsoft Visual Studio

The operation could not be completed

                                        OK

Can anyone help me in solving this query? I am helpless now. Please do let me know if you have any ideas and suggestions. I'll be highly obliged.

Looking forward to your replies.

Regards.

Bob

Maybe there was a compatibility issue there when you run the installer of program. You may need to change the compatibility mode of the installer base from the O.S (operating system that you are using). To change that please follows these steps.

  1. Right click the installer then click “properties”.
  2. Select “Compatibility” tab.
  3. Then check the checkbox “Run this program in compatibility mode for:”
  4. Select from drop down combo box which operating system is currently installed to your computer then click OK.
  5. Then run the installer.

You may try to run also the installer as administrator as another solution. To do this right click the install then click “Run as administrator”.
