I would just like to ask if my Micromax Windows mobile phone's OS is upgradeable just like in Android phones?  I have the Micromax W900 with 128 MB RAM, K3 Hi3611 460MHz processor and Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS.

Definitely! You can upgrade your Micromax W900 with 128 MB RAM, K3 Hi3611 460MHz processor and Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS. But I am sorry to say that your cell phone's feedback is not very good.

I think it's better to change it and look for a new one. But it is up to you.

Hi Disoja Jully,

Some service centers do offer upgrade with Micromax W900. I would suggest that you visit the nearest service center and ask them if they offer the service. Upgrade is from 6.1 to 6.5 version only.

Check the comparison chart between two versions below.

Hope this will help you.

If you want to upgrade the mobile operating system of your Micromax phone, that would depend on your phone’s hardware specifications. If your phone is quite newer, you might be able to upgrade or update to the latest but if your device is a little bit older, you may be able to update but up to a certain version only.
