To find deleted browser history-

  1. Go to start and then open command prompt
  2. In command prompt enter the command

Ipconfig/displaydns

  1. After entering the command hit enter

This will show all your recent browsing history of your pc and you look and find whatever you need pretty easily with this.

Unfortunately, after you cleared your browsing history, there is no way you can recover your browsing history and learn what websites you’ve visited. When you clear your browser’s cache, everything you selected is deleted. You cannot restore them back. Running the command “ipconfig /displaydns” will not display the actual websites you visited nor your browsing history.

The “/displaydns” switch in the command will only display the contents of the DNS Resolver Cache. It is possible to see some of the websites you visited but it will only display the website’s address or the root URL and not the actual path of the page. If you want to see the URL of the page you previously visited, you will not find it here.

Running the “ipconfig /displaydns” command in the command prompt will not help you restore your browsing history. To test it myself, I opened Google and the TechyV website in Opera and run the command in the command prompt. But none of the two websites appeared on the list after viewing the contents of the DNS Resolver Cache.
