My yahoo messenger seems to pop up right after I turn on the pc and it is causing great problem to me. It just pop up every now and then apart from startup. I need to make this function inactive and for this I need some technical solution. kindly someone help me with this issue as soon as possible.

Hi there. It's very easy to solve this kind of problem. At first, open the Yahoo Messenger, click on ‘Messenger’ in the toolbar and select ‘Preferences’. In ‘General’ category now uncheck the box next to ‘Automatically starts Yahoo! Messenger’, and then click Ok or Apply.
Or alternatively, go to Start menu > Run Command and type ‘msconfig’ in the prompt and press enter. Go to the ‘Startup tab’ and uncheck ‘Yahoo messenger’. Click Ok and let the PC restart. Hope it will surely solve your problem.
If you want to start your yahoo messenger again (when it is not started in startup), just press the shortcut of it placed in the desktop or start menu.
