One of the simple and easy way to save all messages is, simply download SMS Backup+ from Goole app store. It will make a backup of your messages and other programs also which you think is important for you.

For backup messages from Viber, What's app, mobile using your gmail account. For this you have to enable IMAP access in order for SMS backup+ to work.

To do that. Open your gmail account on your browser and click setting icon to open settings. Go into POP/IMAP tab and enable IMAP form there.

Now it's time to set preferences.
Make sure you set and enable the auto backup option.
Check both boxes 'Connect' and 'Auto backup'. You can also force the app to use Wi-Fi only.

In advanced setting you can specify the name of every folder. For example, separate folder for mobile message, other for What's app, another for Viber etc.

There is also an option for Restore and Notifications. You know when SMS Backup+ is running.

Then click on Backup to start your 1st backup. It will take some time depending upon the number of messages in your mobile phone.

You can check by going into your Gmail inbox and see the side column containing different labels.
