I have connected the brand new monitor to my PC alongside my old one, but now they are the wrong way around and the start menu button is on the right. How can I switch them back to left side.

Help please.

You are using both monitors? Meaning you are working in dual mode monitor.

If you are in this kind of set-up, you must identify first which is your primary monitor and which one is the secondary. After identifying the monitor, switch them under your display settings.

Just like what you did to set the dual monitor. After switching your monitor your taskbar will automatically move on the left side monitor.

This was happened because of the configuration of your monitor. Just give a try and you will see what I mean. Some settings of this might be found on the adapter third party applications minimized in your task tray.

Hi,

My understanding to your question is when you put your new monitor the start menu or task bar was misplaced,
meaning it is located on the left side part of your monitor.

If this is your concern. Yes, your start menu or task bar was been moved and your taskbar lock is disabled.

To restore the default settings, you must click the taskbar or start menu l(long press left key of your mouse) then drag and drop it to your desired position. You may enable task bar lock by right click then select Lock Taskbar.
