Yesterday as I was using my laptop (Apple powerbook) I noticed a thin blue line across the screen.Â
What does that mean? How can I fix it?

 If your computer is working fine there is no need to worry.  Sometimes it's just the  resolution and sometimes power also affects it. But if the thin lines appear often then there is something wrong with your computer. It will not work soon, you will need to replace it. If you can bring it to a technician to have it check that would be best.

There are a lot of possible reasons why this line suddenly appears on the screen. Replacing the screen would be very expensive so I suggest not to overuse your screen. These lines sometimes indicate that the screen is overused and it overheated. Try buying a good cooling deck and turn it off for the meantime especially when you are not using it.
It is also possible that it’s a faulty line and the connector cable broke. If you have a PC doctor,try to run a video test and see what happens.
