I am running into some troubles when I am surfing the net using my computer. I am using IE8 with windows 7. Majority of the pages I am visiting are new websites and every time I have to maximize the page by clicking the maximize button located at the top right corner of the screen because initially the screen size is just about two inches when I open the page. I am seeking your assistance in this matter.

Hi Royce Wilkinson,

In order for you to maximize your web pages you should open first your Internet Explorer 8 and edit the web screen according to your likes.  Then you must carry down the control key while you are clicking the X to exit the program.  This will now set the Internet Explorer 8 to open the  window at the setting you had modify.

If anything doesn't work, you can also try this, Open TOOLS, then Internet Options.  then below the tab select the settings, then choose  open pops in the new tab always.

Hope this might help you.

Thanks.

Hello Royce,

Is the problem occurring every time you start the computer? Well, if that is the case then you will need to maximize them using the following way:

  • Just drag the cursor to the sides of the browser when it is minimized and then hold the sides of the browser by clicking.
  • Expand the sides so that they occupy the full screen.
  • Do that for all the four sides of the browser.
  • Restart the browser. It should not bring the problem this time.

When you drag the sides of the browser and reduce its size, that will its default size and therefore you have to change by expanding it again.

Hope this helps.
