I am getting error 2147467259 on MapleStory multiplayer online games. It occurs when starting a game. Does anyone know any ideas of solving this error?
In most cases, the error you received is a runtime error which is somewhat a generic one. This error happens when the program cannot connect to a specific or to the specified object. But since it happens when playing MapleStory, this error is related to the video card’s driver. This error somewhat says that your video card’s driver is not installed.
If you know your video card’s driver is already installed, try updating its driver. If you are using an NVIDIA graphics adapter on your computer, visit NVIDIA Driver Downloads to download a much updated driver for your device’s specific model and operating system. For ATI graphics adapter, visit AMD Graphics Drivers and Software.
If you have Intel graphics adapter on your board, visit Intel Download Center to download the driver for your video card. If you are using Matrox as your video card, visit Driver and Software Download. When downloading any of these video card drivers, make sure you select the exact model of your video card because wrong version will simply not work and you need to download it again.
If updating your video card’s driver doesn’t help, try downloading a patch for MapleStory. Visit Game Client and Updates to download the patch. It actually has 3 different patches you can apply. Before applying the patch, make sure you are logged out of the game.
